Busy Beaver

Sorry I haven’t posted recently but I’ve been busy busy busy, for those who actually care what I’ve been up to and will be up to here’s a recap. Last weekend I had a good friend and her two girls over, worked tonight and the coming wed, fri, mon, tomorrow is House night at Tealka’s Thursday is Shanna’s housewarming, I have a midterm on Friday that I should really get my ass in gear for, it’s Carter’s birthday this weekend, which I’m still not sure if I will make, which will be sad if I don’t cause I’ve never missed a birthday of his yet, and to top it all off I have a 4000 word paper due on the 20th yippee lol. Actually I don’t mind the busy-ness so much, keeps me going and makes me get up off my ass.

Also I haven’t seen Carter for like 3 weeks and my hormones are RAGING, I seriously need some Carter time, just to take the edge off so I can actually think about school and work lol. Seems like I’ve been suddenly swept in the whirlwind of life, maybe I was just in the center of the tornado for the last little while, all bored, twiddling my thumbs and waiting for it to strike. I don’t know but I think I like the tornado better, gives me something to work with. Well anyways, I really really really hope I can go to Rocky this weekend, cause anyone reading this must be able to tell that I need it. Ta ta for now my faithful readers.

Halloween

It’s that time again!! That’s right everyone the one day of the year when it is perfectly acceptable (and even expected) for the average girl population to dress up as slutty as possible. All right ladies, haul our your short skirts and bikini tops and show it all off. I wonder what it is about a night so drenched in ghoulish history has been transformed into an anything goes, get as drunk as you want kind of night? Food for thought, though most guys will be too busy ogling us half clad ladies to think anything, they just drool and hope their costumes will disguise their way to obvious up downs lol. Sad to say that this Halloween I’ll be left behind the skank train and be forced to study for midterms abound.

But Ladies I’m with you, it’s our one night of the year when we can really slut up our looks and not feel the least bit guilty about it, I know we all have hooker boots and short skirts hiding in the closet just waiting for an opportunity such as this, mine will just have to gather dust for this season. Maybe next year, or maybe I’m at that midway point where you turn off all the lights and hide hoping the kids won’t smell the chocolate you bought for Halloween but decided to eat for yourself instead? Yum. Think they’ll believe me when I mumble “no one’s home” through the chocolate? I guess we’ll see. Happy Halloween to all!! lol

Check it Out!

After much fanagling I have finally brought my mother into the blogging world, that’s right it’s not just for us young pups. Ever since I can remember she’s been an advice guru. She was the mom all my friends came to for advice or to ask questions or just to talk to. Though she carries no Masters in Psychology or Adviciology, she’s never turned me in the wrong direction. So I was thinking to myself, perhaps I am being selfish in keeping all this mom advice to myself, perhaps there are people in this world who are mom advice starved. So I said “Self! You need to do something about this!!” and thus began my quest to initiate my mother into the blog world, and I am happy to introduce her new page

Ask away. Hope you all enjoy.

Hide and Seek

                                      I’ve lost myself.

Not under the bed, not at the bar, in a restaurant or at the school. I’ve just simply lost myself somewhere in the vastness of space…

         floating.

Perhaps searching for a new body to inhabit, as this one is much too restrictive. I feel torn, unable to understand, or even able to care about this mindless engine seeming to power my life. Too many things tearing at me from too many directions created too many holes, holes that my not so nimble hands were unable to mend, and through these holes escaped my ’self’. Emptiness is heavy. Emptiness seems a harder burden to bear. Achieve world peace, sure, but filling the emptiness of my frozen soul… I shrug, indifference is my tool.

Do you know where my ’self’ has gone? I’d really like to find me…

Alter-Ego

I’m a little bored with myself lately and an earlier blogging convo (re: http://sunshinesweetheart.blog.com ) prompted me to put a little more thought into my already created alter ego of Hot Ice Girl. Well quite obviously I am an amazingly sexy and confident super heroine, I’m also very mysterious… am I hot? am I icy? am I a girl (well okay that one is slightly less mysterious… I hope).

I think I need to create a sweet costume for my hero, so I’m open to ideas and no Danny nude is NOT an option. It should be classy and sassy, wow the poetry, I feel myself gaining power already! I also need to decide my super power (besides stunning people with my beauty), and my weapon of choice, I’m thinking some sort of sword, Very sexy though I know some crazy Freudian psychologist would say it’s due to penis envy, but I don’t want a penis, I already own one, it’s just attached to my boyfriend, which incidentally is alot more convenient as I don’t have to worry about the package swaying around down there… but on with my creation muahahaha. I also need a kick ass catch phrase something in the realm of Pity Da Foo, but dammit that’s already taken isn’t it, well food for thought.

Also I’ll be teaming up with The Human Flashlight ( guiding him along really), and after our newest creation has fully mutated we’ll be a trio of ass rustin, rhyme bustin rockers cuttin down evil (or what we feel is evil, or really just what slightly annoys us) every single day. Stay tuned viewers as this is only the beginning. Muahaha…muaha, muahahahaha

Un-titled

Un-titled

So abrupt, so telling,

A word to judge the rest by.

Deposits a feeling, a picture,

into the void you’re trying to fill.

Leave it alone. Walk into it

unaware.

Receive the answers, before

the questions.

Ask not, but be

open.

Open arms, open heart

open mind.

Allow it to fill you,

without reservation.

Pours in like boiling

honey.

Painful, but sweet

all at once.

Cum On

Okay so I have a rather hilarious anecdote to share with you all:

A friend of mine was in the bedroom with her man, canoodling in the canine position, hot and heavy and all that jazz, nearing the end he pulls out to finish off, all “ooh baby that was good” and BAM…BAM…BAM he shoots himself right in the eye!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. Poor guys eye is all red and irritated, now how do you explain that one to friends and family eh? Now this is absolutely hilarious, even more so if you know the couple in question, and what makes it funnier is that you know that is really could happen to anyone, I’ve seen it shoot over a guys shoulder before, you never really know where it’s gonna go do ya? Ah the tradgedies wayward ejaculation has caused. Too funny!!! Any wayward stories of your own? Please share…

Question

Okay so I have a super depressingly war torn semester plagued with War and Dark Comedy, and I’m fishing for paper ideas, so I have some philosophical questions to ask of my few readers:

Do you believe that world peace is possible?

If you were the President of the US today, how would you deal with the current issues?

Is there ever a “good” or “just” time to use nuclear weapons?

 and finally….

Why are people so drawn to violence and devastation, and yet at the same time, cannot ever truly face it?

Just a little food for thought…

Grindstone

Here I am, back at school hitting the grindstone!! I did go and talk to the advisor yesterday and got some pretty good news, I will come out of university with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English and Psych and I will be done sooner than I thought, I only have 16 courses left to take as of January 07 so that means I should finish my degree Dec 08 or if I take a spring semester April 08 which is really exciting cause I thought I had 3 more excruciating years left, but now I can almost see a tiny little sliver of light up ahead in this dreadful tunnel that is school!! Though it does seem to go by so fast, I just want to start my life, work, love etc.. is a lot harder when you are in school, plus the fact that everyone is super broke, aww poo well one day I’ll graduate.

Oh ya speaking of which my mom promised me a puppy when I graduate yay, I went to the pet store on Tuesday and OMG the cutest freakin dog, a little Gizmo (for those of you that don’t know Gizmo is my parents Scotty Terrier), well really it was a Gizmo-ette, as she was female and she was a squirming little sausage of cuteness sooooo cute. Though my IDEAL dog is an English Bulldog, after knowing the Scotty breed I wouldn’t mind one of those either, ah to hell with it I just want a damn puppy, so whoever reads this that loves me enough, just keep that in mind in case you ever need to win favor with me!! lol Well that’s all for now I gotta get to class, poo. Catch ya on the fliip side!

Rockin Rocky

Hey there, so I just got off the River, I know it’s October and cold cold cold on the river but my Carter’s mom rented a river boat for the day and whoo-eee was it ever fun. We boated all the way up river from Rocky past Horburg, I know most of you don’t know where that is but it’s about an hour and a half upriver. It was a blast, a cold blast yes, but still a blast. We started a little fire past Horburg and had a picnic lunch, yummy turkey sandwiches and roasted marshmallows, but then an emergency struck our quiet little camp out, Carter’s Aunty lit her leg on fire, how did it happen, no one is really sure, in most cases hanging out with the fam it could have been blamed on drinking but seeing as we had four kids with us and it was a happy family outing, that was out of the question, so on with the story, All of the sudden I look up and Carter’s aunt says “Ahhh my legs on fire”, for some wierd reason it took me like forever to register what was actually happening, Carter’s mom calmly says “stop drop and roll”, so she does but that doesn’t seem to be working, but my quick mind once again saved the day as I, superhero Candice, unscrewed the lid on my water bottle and put out the fire. We saved her leg and luckily we were not forced to perform an amputation in the middle of nowhere, but sadly Carter’s aunt was left with a bluey green blister (the patch on her pants kinda melted to her leg), ya it was pretty gross, she’s going to be sore for a while.

But other than that mini-emergency the day was pretty awesome, hung out with Carter and the in-laws, had a blast on the river, though I think my boobs might have gotten about 2 inches droopier flying over those rapids, meh whatever. So far Thanksgiving weekend has been pretty fun, got in to Rocky late Friday night, had supper on Saturday with the fam went out Sat night and then the river extravaganza today, I think we’ll take er easy tonight watch a movie or two, and I’ll be back to good ol Lethbridge on the morrow. Hope everyone else had a good thanksgiving!! Talk to you soon.

P.S. The Picture above is of Abraham Lake which is about 45 min from Rocky, a must see if you are ever in the area.
